Marius Bear – Waiting For Love
With around 25 million streams, a Swiss Music Award, a Top 5 album and participation in the ESC 2022 for Switzerland, Marius Bear has already achieved a lot in his young career. His unmistakable voice and likeable personality have made him famous far beyond the Switzerland’s borders. The new single Waiting For Love underlines that Marius Bear is not only one of the best young voices out there, but he proves how to lend songs so much emotion that goosebumps are guaranteed.
And Marius is getting better and better, as he impressively proves with this autumnal ballad: Marius wrote the song, notably a waltz, together with Martin Gallop and Michael Hunter-Ochs in the same week and in the same Berlin studio as his Eurovision song Boys Do Cry. fun fact; Boys Do Cry received the 2nd highest points tally at the ESC from the Dutch jury… which will hopefully bode well for Waiting for Love in Holland.
If Waiting For Love was a season, then it surely be autumn to accompany our desires for closeness, warmth and togetherness and hopefully for a world that reconciles…. we can only hope. With a pinch of melancholy and a “key change” that makes every heart soar and nature change colour!
